ARGUS TACTICAL CANCELLATION POLICY, BOOKING, RESCHEDULING & REFUNDS

By booking a course, private lesson, group session, or other training service with Argus Tactical LLC, the participant agrees to the following booking, payment, cancellation, rescheduling, attendance, and refund terms.

1. Payment and Reservation Confirmation

Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise specifically stated by Argus Tactical LLC.

A reservation is not considered confirmed until the required payment has been successfully received.

Any separate range fees, firearm rental fees, ammunition costs, targets, equipment costs, or other third-party charges are not included in the Argus Tactical LLC instructional fee unless specifically stated in the course description.

2. Participant Cancellations - 48 Hours or More Before Training

Participants who cancel at least 48 hours before the scheduled start time may choose one of the following:

  • Receive a refund of the instructional fees paid; or

  • Request to reschedule to another available training date.

Rescheduling is subject to course, instructor, and facility availability.

3. Participant Cancellations - Less Than 48 Hours Before Training

Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled start time are subject to a 30% late-cancellation fee based on the total course price.

Argus Tactical LLC will retain 30% of the course price, and the remaining 70% will be eligible for refund to the original payment method.

The late-cancellation fee is intended to account for the reserved training slot, administrative preparation, scheduling commitments, and the reduced opportunity to fill the vacancy on short notice.

Participants may request to reschedule instead of cancelling; however, rescheduling within the 48-hour period is subject to Argus Tactical LLC approval and availability and is not guaranteed.

4. Rescheduling

Participants may request to reschedule their training at least 48 hours before the scheduled start time without a rescheduling penalty, subject to availability.

Requests made less than 48 hours before the scheduled start time may be denied or handled under the late-cancellation policy.

Repeated rescheduling, abuse of the rescheduling process, or failure to attend a rescheduled session may result in Argus Tactical LLC requiring a new booking and payment.

5. No-Shows

A participant who fails to attend the scheduled training session without providing advance notice will be considered a no-show.

No-shows are not eligible for a refund or credit, and a new booking and payment may be required to attend a future session.

6. Late Arrivals

Participants are expected to arrive on time and prepared for training.

Firearms instruction may include mandatory safety briefings, classroom instruction, demonstrations, assessments, and other material that must be completed before a participant can safely proceed to later portions of the course.

If a participant arrives late, Argus Tactical LLC may, depending on the circumstances:

  • Permit the participant to continue if required material can be safely completed;

  • Restrict the participant from certain activities;

  • Require the participant to reschedule; or

  • Decline further participation in the session.

Refunds or credits are not guaranteed when participation is affected by the participant's late arrival.

7. Required Documentation and Identification

Participants are responsible for completing all required documentation before participating in applicable training activities. This may include, as applicable:

  • Participant eligibility certification;

  • Liability waiver and acknowledgment of risk;

  • Firearms safety agreement;

  • Parent or legal guardian consent for minor participants;

  • Required identification verification; and

  • Other course-specific documentation.

Failure to complete required documentation or provide required identification may result in delayed participation, restriction from firearm-handling or live-fire activities, or a requirement to reschedule.

Refunds are not guaranteed when a participant is unable to participate because the participant failed to complete required documentation or provide required identification.

8. Range Fees, Ammunition, Rentals, and Equipment

Unless specifically stated otherwise in the course description, participants are responsible for all applicable third-party expenses, including:

  • Range or facility fees;

  • Firearm rental fees;

  • Ammunition;

  • Targets;

  • Eye and hearing protection;

  • Holsters or other required equipment; and

  • Other range- or course-related expenses.

These charges are separate from the instructional fee paid to Argus Tactical LLC.

Participants are responsible for ensuring that any personally provided firearm, ammunition, or equipment is lawful, appropriate, serviceable, and permitted by the applicable range or facility.

9. Safety and Conduct

All participants must comply with:

  • Instructor commands;

  • Firearms safety rules;

  • Range and facility rules;

  • Course requirements; and

  • Applicable federal, state, and local laws.

Argus Tactical LLC reserves the right to immediately restrict, suspend, or terminate a participant's training when the participant engages in unsafe, reckless, threatening, disruptive, unlawful, or otherwise unacceptable conduct.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Unsafe firearm handling;

  • Failure to follow a cease-fire or other safety command;

  • Horseplay;

  • Threatening behavior;

  • Apparent impairment;

  • Intentional disregard of instructor instructions; or

  • Repeated violations of safety rules.

A participant whose training is terminated because of the participant's conduct or safety violations is not entitled to a refund for the affected session.

10. Alcohol, Drugs, and Impairment

Participants may not participate in firearm-handling or live-fire activities while impaired by alcohol, unlawful drugs, medication, fatigue, illness, or any other condition that prevents safe participation.

Argus Tactical LLC may restrict or terminate participation when an instructor reasonably determines that a participant cannot safely continue.

Refunds are not guaranteed when participation is restricted or terminated because of impairment or unsafe condition attributable to the participant.

11. Minor Participants

Participants under 18 years of age must satisfy all applicable Argus Tactical LLC documentation requirements and all applicable legal, supervisory, accompaniment, and facility requirements.

A required parent or legal guardian authorization does not override applicable law, range rules, instructor requirements, or safety restrictions.

Argus Tactical LLC may postpone or deny a minor participant's participation when required authorization, supervision, documentation, or other conditions have not been satisfied.

12. Cancellations or Rescheduling by Argus Tactical LLC

Argus Tactical LLC may cancel, postpone, relocate, or reschedule training when reasonably necessary because of circumstances including:

  • Instructor illness or unavailability;

  • Severe weather;

  • Unsafe conditions;

  • Range or facility closures;

  • Equipment or facility problems;

  • Insufficient enrollment;

  • Emergency circumstances; or

  • Other conditions that prevent the training from being conducted safely or effectively.

If Argus Tactical LLC cancels a session and cannot reasonably provide the scheduled training, the affected participant may choose:

  • Transfer to another available session; or

  • A refund of the instructional fees paid for the cancelled session.

Argus Tactical LLC is not responsible for incidental or third-party expenses incurred by the participant, including travel, lodging, ammunition purchases, firearm rentals, range charges, or equipment costs.

13. Weather and Facility Conditions

Outdoor or range-based training may be affected by weather, facility conditions, range availability, or safety concerns.

Argus Tactical LLC reserves the right to modify the schedule, location, or training activities when reasonably necessary for safety.

Participants will be notified using the contact information provided during registration whenever reasonably practicable.

14. Participant Withdrawal During Training

A participant who voluntarily chooses to leave or discontinue training after the scheduled session has begun is not automatically entitled to a refund.

Any refund or credit in such circumstances will be determined by Argus Tactical LLC based on the circumstances and the portion of training already provided.

15. Course Requirements and Unsuccessful Completion

Payment for a course does not guarantee successful completion, certification, qualification, or achievement of any particular training result.

Participants are responsible for meeting applicable attendance, safety, knowledge, practical, and performance requirements.

A participant who does not satisfy required course standards is not automatically entitled to a refund solely because the participant did not successfully complete the course.

16. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will generally be returned to the original payment method whenever reasonably possible.

Once Argus Tactical LLC initiates a refund, the timing of the funds appearing in the participant's account may depend on the payment processor, bank, or financial institution.

Any payment-processing fees that are non-refundable to Argus Tactical LLC may be deducted from a refund where permitted and appropriately disclosed.

17. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Participants are encouraged to contact Argus Tactical LLC directly regarding billing questions, cancellations, or refund concerns before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback.

Nothing in this policy limits any rights a participant may have under applicable law or through the participant's financial institution or payment provider.

18. Participant Responsibility

Participants are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate booking and contact information;

  • Monitoring email and other communications from Argus Tactical LLC;

  • Completing required paperwork;

  • Arriving on time;

  • Bringing required identification and equipment;

  • Following all safety and instructor requirements; and

  • Reviewing applicable course requirements before attending.

19. Exceptions

Argus Tactical LLC may make reasonable exceptions to this policy when warranted by documented emergencies, extraordinary circumstances, or other situations considered appropriate by Argus Tactical LLC.

Granting an exception in one situation does not require Argus Tactical LLC to grant the same exception in another situation.

20. Policy Acceptance

By completing a booking with Argus Tactical LLC, the participant acknowledges that they have reviewed, understand, and agree to this Booking, Cancellation, Rescheduling & Refund Policy.

If the booking is made on behalf of another participant, the person making the booking is responsible for ensuring that the participant is informed of the applicable policies and requirements.

Argus Tactical LLC reserves the right to update this policy prospectively as business operations, course requirements, or applicable legal requirements change.
