PARTICIPANT REGISTRATION & ELIGIBILITY

PARTICIPANT FIREARMS ELIGIBILITY CERTIFICATION

Please carefully review each statement below. By acknowledging each statement, you certify that you have read and understood it and that it is true and accurate as it applies to you.

Argus Tactical LLC relies upon these representations when determining whether you may participate in firearm-handling and live-fire training.

1. LEGAL ELIGIBILITY

I certify that I am legally permitted under applicable federal, Virginia, and local law to possess, receive, transport, handle, and use the firearms and ammunition involved in the Argus Tactical training in which I will participate. I am not presently subject to a law, court order, legal disability, or other legally binding restriction that would make my participation in firearm-handling or live-fire training unlawful.

2. FELONY OR OTHER DISQUALIFYING CONVICTIONS

I certify that I am not currently prohibited from possessing, receiving, transporting, handling, or using firearms or ammunition because of a felony conviction, qualifying juvenile adjudication, or other disqualifying criminal conviction. If I was previously prohibited, I certify that any restoration of firearm rights necessary for my participation has been lawfully completed and that I am presently legally permitted to participate.

3. DOMESTIC-VIOLENCE OR OTHER DISQUALIFYING OFFENSES

I certify that I am not currently prohibited from possessing or receiving firearms or ammunition because of a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence or another criminal conviction that presently creates a firearm prohibition applicable to me.

4. PROTECTIVE OR RESTRAINING ORDERS

I certify that I am not currently subject to a protective order, restraining order, or other court order that would make my possession, receipt, transportation, handling, or use of firearms or ammunition during this training unlawful.

5. SUBSTANTIAL-RISK ORDERS

I certify that I am not currently subject to an emergency substantial-risk order, substantial-risk order, or substantially similar order that prohibits my possession or transportation of firearms.

6. MENTAL-HEALTH-RELATED LEGAL PROHIBITIONS

I certify that I am not currently prohibited by law from possessing, purchasing, transporting, handling, or using firearms because of an applicable adjudication, commitment, court order, or other governmental determination.

This certification concerns legal firearm eligibility only. I am not being asked to disclose diagnoses, counseling, medications, treatment, or other private medical information that does not create a legal firearm prohibition.

7. FUGITIVE STATUS

I certify that I am not a fugitive from justice or otherwise subject to a fugitive status that prohibits my lawful possession or receipt of firearms or ammunition.

8. CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES

I certify that I am not prohibited under applicable law from possessing or receiving firearms or ammunition because of unlawful use of, or addiction to, a controlled substance. I further certify that I will not possess, handle, or use firearms during Argus Tactical training under circumstances in which doing so would violate applicable law.

9. IMMIGRATION STATUS

If I am not a United States citizen, I certify that my immigration status and circumstances legally permit me to possess and use the firearms and ammunition involved in this training. If my immigration or visa status is subject to firearm restrictions, I certify that I satisfy any applicable legal exception necessary for my participation.

10. MILITARY DISCHARGE

I certify that I am not prohibited from possessing or receiving firearms or ammunition as a result of having been discharged from the Armed Forces of the United States under dishonorable conditions.

11. RENUNCIATION OF U.S. CITIZENSHIP

I certify that I am not prohibited from possessing or receiving firearms or ammunition as a result of having formally renounced United States citizenship.

12. JUVENILE ADJUDICATIONS

I certify that I am not currently prohibited from possessing, transporting, handling, or using the firearms or ammunition involved in this training because of a juvenile adjudication or other juvenile-court disposition.

13. OTHER LEGAL RESTRICTIONS

I certify that I am not subject to any other conviction, court order, probation condition, bond condition, release condition, legal disability, voluntary legal restriction, or other applicable restriction that would make my possession, receipt, transportation, handling, or use of firearms or ammunition during this training unlawful.

14. PERSONALLY PROVIDED FIREARMS AND AMMUNITION

If I bring a personally owned or otherwise lawfully possessed firearm or ammunition to an Argus Tactical class, I certify that my possession and transportation of that firearm and ammunition are lawful. I understand that Argus Tactical allowing a firearm, ammunition, accessory, or other equipment at a training location does not constitute an independent legal determination or guarantee concerning its possession, transportation, configuration, or use.

15. CONTINUING ELIGIBILITY

I understand that these certifications must remain true throughout my participation in training. If my legal eligibility changes before or during training, or if I become uncertain about my eligibility, I agree to immediately notify an Argus Tactical instructor and cease possessing, handling, loading, transporting, or using firearms or ammunition until my legal eligibility has been satisfactorily established.

IDENTITY VERIFICATION REQUIREMENT

IMPORTANT — BRING TWO FORMS OF IDENTIFICATION TO CLASS

Argus Tactical requires each participant to present two forms of identification at check-in for identity-verification and training-record purposes. At least one must be a current government-issued photo ID.

Examples of acceptable primary identification include a state-issued driver's license or identification card, U.S. passport or passport card, U.S. military identification, government employee photo identification, or other current government-issued photo identification.

Examples of secondary identification include another government-issued ID, concealed handgun permit, veteran identification card, government employee identification, birth certificate, Social Security card, or other identification accepted by Argus Tactical.

Privacy Notice: Identification will be visually inspected for identity-verification purposes only. Argus Tactical will not photograph, photocopy, scan, or retain a copy of your identification as part of this verification procedure. Identification numbers, Social Security numbers, passport numbers, and similar document numbers will not be recorded as part of the routine identity-verification process.

FINAL PARTICIPANT DECLARATION & ACKNOWLEDGMENT

By signing below, I certify that I personally reviewed this form and each certification and acknowledgment contained within it.

I certify that the information and representations I have provided are true and correct to the best of my knowledge.

I understand that Argus Tactical LLC is relying upon my representations when determining whether I may participate in firearm-handling or live-fire activities.

I understand that Argus Tactical does not perform a government background check through this form and is not independently determining, certifying, or guaranteeing my legal eligibility to purchase, own, possess, receive, carry, transport, handle, or use firearms or ammunition.

I understand that completion of this form or successful completion of an Argus Tactical course does not, by itself, establish my eligibility to purchase, possess, carry, or receive a firearm or to obtain a concealed handgun permit.

I understand that I remain personally responsible for knowing and maintaining my legal eligibility to possess, receive, transport, handle, and use firearms and ammunition.

I agree to immediately notify Argus Tactical if any representation made in this form becomes inaccurate before or during my participation in training.

I understand that Argus Tactical may refuse, suspend, or terminate my participation when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, range rules, Argus Tactical policies, or safety requirements.
